Menachem Lifshitz is a philanthropist who is involved in various types of charity. He helps aid the mentally and physically challenged children as well as children with cancer. He instils hope in them while trying to improve their quality of life. He is the financial benefactor of the following organizations. Kulanu Academy – A school based in Long Island, New York for children with disabilities. Camp Bais Chana – A summer camp program based in Brooklyn, New York. It is named in memory of his daughter, Chana. This camp serves children with severe mental and physical challenges. Shalva – An Israeli based organization that serves the needs of mentally challenged children throughout Israel. When not at work or at home, Mel can be found traveling with families and friends.
